Craig is a key member of Paramount Youth Theatre having been involved in many successful productions over the years.

 

He began working as backstage crew at Leicester's De Montfort Hall and Leicester's Haymarket Theatre, where he gained knowledge & experience in the Production, Lighting & Stage Management areas. Following his training, Craig became involved in coordinating & working on many well known musicals in the Midlands area, Oliver, Annie and West Side Story to name a few.

 

Craig has most recently Stage Managed The Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone & High School Musical. 

Clive C. Engwell - Set Designer

Clive is a qualified Design Engineer with a long career in industry in many senior management positions where his passion for designing and making things was developed to the full.  He is also a qualified teacher of Design and Technology and recently retired from that position at the King Edward (Handsworth) Grammar School for Girls.

Clive has always had an interest in drama and occasionally treads the boards appearing in several productions at the Loft Theatre. Clive has much experience in designing and building many theatrical sets in the Warwickshire area. His most recent work includes designing/building such epics as Godspell, Peter Pan, Annie, Grease, Oliver, Bugsy Malone and the Wizard of Oz, including the building of a fearsome animated “Great Oz”, for the Loft Theatre production in Leamington Spa.

Lyn Moore - Production Manager

Lyn became involved in musical theatre when she auditioned for a part in 42nd Street at the Royal Spa Centre in 1997. Since then she has been treading the boards at every opportunity and has taken part in many musicals in the Warwickshire region including; My Fair Lady, Oliver, Scrooge, Me & My Girl, Anything Goes & the Wizard of Oz to name a few.

When she is not appearing on stage, Lyn can be found behind the scenes in her role as Production Manager, which she has been doing for 8 years. In this capacity, she works closely with the Director & Stage Manager to ensure the overall success of all Paramount Youth Theatre productions.

Ian Hodgkiss - Technical Manager

Ian has been appearing on stage from the age of 8 when he was involved in Warwickshire and Leamington gangshows. Since then he has been in a number of productions these include; West Side Story, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Crazy for you, Me and My Girl, Disco Inferno, Barnum & Fame as well as two shows at the Royal Albert hall in London.

Ian is an important member of the Paramount team, having been involved in 'bringing to life' a number of productions. His role as Technical Manager is key to the whole production process and he works in collaboration with the Director & Set Designer to realise each shows visual effects.   Most recently Ian has been presented with a number of challenges by the PYT creative team including the visualisation of a Kansas Twister, Dorothys disappearance and most scarily, the creation of a giant wizards head complete with flame effects for the Wizard of Oz.

When he is not in the theatre, Ian spends his time behind a sound & lighting desk, where as an acomplished technician, he travels all over the Midlands region supporting a number of well known bands in the area.
